Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“2010 Honda Ridgeline trucks have the power steering reservoir fluid mounted to the base of the frame. The reservoir is not protected or shielded from any debris which could easily enter into the engine compartment to include water, ice and snow from the road which could strike the power steering reservoir and cause a complete and instant failure of steering. The reservoir is mounted by one bolt on a thin bracket which can flex.”

NHTSA complaint #10307954, filed 2010-02, 1,000 miles

“Steering wheel shimmies at all speeds. Tires have been changed 3 times, dealership checked 2 times, multiple alignments. The problem remains the same from about 25,000 mi. Now 66,000 mi.”

NHTSA complaint #10535561, filed 2013-08, 25,000 miles
