“While driving at night, for the first time since buying our Hyundai Azera, I was horrified to find the headlights were barely visible and pointing at the ground. I had to drive with the bright lights on. Even after the dealer adjusted them we continue to have to use the bright lights for safe driving. It appears the inside of the lens covers, in front of the regular bulbs, are severely scratched or cloudy so the lights can't illuminate the roads! This seems like a serious flaw for night driving. …”
NHTSA complaint #11066942, filed 2018-02, 123,646 miles“Sometimes I go out to crank my car and it will not start. Once the car is started and in motion it's alright but once I turn it off and immediately turn it back on it will not start. I have to wait sometimes five to ten minutes then it will crank again.”
NHTSA complaint #11319771, filed 2020-03“The vehicle has a random, chronic no start issue. Everything appears to be working normally, and you will turn the key with no crank. All the dashboard lights work, everything is as normal except it wont turn over. The dealer will not help. They refuse to even attempt replacing parts with my approval, just to try to rule things out. Due to my own investigation into the problem, we have successfully replaced the transmission inhibitor switch twice with good results. That switch will not allow the engine to crank if the car thinks the transmission is not in park. …”
NHTSA complaint #11532397, filed 2023-07“When driving, if you encounter even a small bump in the road, the car jumps as if it were a train jumping the tracks and getting back on track. If it's raining, it feels as though the vehicle is sliding across the road. (Finally, realizing that I WAS sliding across the road).”
