Example complaints

In researching online and speaking with a local dealer, there are numerous reports of the horns failing. The dealer even said that the items to repair them are back ordered.”

Vehicle speed control: “Vehicle has an unintended acceleration recall and I have experienced it a few times during the past few months. almost crashed into vehicle before me after the traffic stop.”

NHTSA complaint #11593529, filed 2024-06

Transmission and drivetrain: “After driving the vehicle for about 5 miles I stopped to make a left turn and when I let off the brake and pressed the gas pedal the car crept forward but wouldn't speed up and the gas engine wasn't starting or even cranking. After about 20 to 30 seconds to gas engine started and the car drove fine for about 15 miles then I went to slow down and the car speed up on it own and the adaptive cruise control was off. Then it drove fine for a few more miles then I stopped at a red light and then began to make a right turn and the car did the same as before. …”

NHTSA complaint #11499585, filed 2022-12

Engine: “Driving on interstate at 70mph. Multiple, five or six, warnings pop up in rapid succession mostly dealing with the safety features such as distance to car in front, adaptive speed control, lane keeping. The last one was hybrid system - safely stop. The car then immediately lost all acceleration power leaving us coasting. This all happened within a few seconds. Terrifying. Luckily we had space to get over quickly. 30 miles sooner we would have been in downtown Jacksonville with no place to maneuver. Extremely dangerous. A few seconds warning then nothing. …”
