Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The front passenger side tire has blown out twice in the past year. The car was parked, and when I started the car and started driving the low tire light came on. After stopping to get air I discovered the tire was completely flat, and I had been driving on a flat tire. Both times the rim was also bent and had to be sent to a shop to repair it (more money and more time away from my car and paying for a rental car). It was the same exact situation both times. I didn't hit anything or run over anything. …”

NHTSA complaint #10817674, filed 2016-01, 57,000 miles

“Noticed the sidewall of the tire has a bulge on it, did not hit any potholes or anything. Have been reading many are having the same issues with the 17 tires on this car.”

NHTSA complaint #10574152, filed 2014-03, 8,100 miles
