2012: “I am the original owner of this vehicle. I have had four instrument clusters replaced due to the display panel fading in the hot weather. The problem is happening again and it would appear that I now need a 5th instrument cluster. Surely, there must be some thing that Hyundai can do to fix this ongoing issue. The odometer, mileage range and gear position display are affected.”

NHTSA complaint #11223133, filed 2019-06, 8,000 miles

2010: “In my steering wheel it makes a clunking noise. I brought it into a service station and they told me it needed a flexible coupling gromt. I didn't do this it is all the way down in the steering column. They told me it should be a recall because it is nothing I did. It does the noise when I am sitting still. If you turn the wheel it sounds like it is catching on something.”

NHTSA complaint #11061433, filed 2018-01, 69,000 miles

2009: “Emergency brake handle is loose. Randomly while driving the ebrake light comes on the dashboard. To make the light go away, I have to tap the brake down. The lever handle is loose and shakes when I am driving. This could be a dangerous situation. This happens daily. This started happening a few months ago.”
