“This car, along with millions of others, are under a recall since Sept 2023. The car could catch on fire even when parked. They have not come up with a fix. I feel that this is an extreme danger to not only myself and my property, but to others living around me. They are taking way too long for a fix to be determined and the work to be done.”

NHTSA complaint #11570527, filed 2024-02

“My car was robbed. It was robbed because the door lock was broken into, and the ignition was started with a USB cord (the Kia Boys tiktok challenge). When my car was recovered the engine was also damaged, necessitating deep engine repairs that I could not afford. My insurance hasn't agreed to cover it despite Comprehensive coverage.”

NHTSA complaint #11529260, filed 2023-06

“Hyundai is saying I can’t park or drive without concern of a fire hazard. Hyundai was called and they said a remedy would be available by the end of the month. That was said in November and now it is the middle of January. I need a vehicle for everyday life and this is getting costly for me. Usually a remedy is to be resolved within a reasonable time, two weeks on average, contractually speaking. Please resolve this problem immediately.”

NHTSA complaint #11565616, filed 2024-01

“My car caught on fire after going to Hyundai and being told “the only thing you have to worry about is your breaks locking up. My car was parked in the driveway and caught on fire from the engine bay.”
