Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Driving on highway at 68 mph. Set cruise control and it raced speed up to 110 mph on its own. Cancelled cruise and tried to set at similar speed approximate 5 times with same result. Restarted car and gripe has not repeated in over 2,000 miles. Dangerous condition that should not be possible. Appears to be computer/software issue as no physical obstructions were present on cruise controls. I have a video of the incident, but cannot upload currently do to unsupported file type.”
