“There's been issues with the fuel pump and pressure gauge. We've already had this problem repaired 4 times and still suspect there's a leak somewhere. We can smell gas in the vehicle while/after pumping and after the car has been driven. Also, there seems to be an electrical issue with the headlights when pressing on the brakes, while driving.”

NHTSA complaint #11165722, filed 2019-01, 165,000 miles

“Accelerator stuck while merging onto the freeway, vehicle was going 85 MPH when I put it in neutral and used brakes to stop. The engine continued racing after stopping and stopped only after I shut off the ignition. Now also happens when accelerating on city streets. Extreme danger if someone driving has this happen and panics.”

NHTSA complaint #11205372, filed 2019-05, 140,000 miles

“The gas gas does not work, they said it was the fuel level sensors. This is a great danger as I ran out of gas at a high speed with my 3 year old son in the car. This needs to be addressed immediately. After this happened I have read a ton of other comments reporting the same thing, Hyundai should be ashamed they haven't corrected this issue!”

NHTSA complaint #11102399, filed 2018-06, 110,000 miles

“My engine light is still on after replacing the fuel sensor 2 times and fuel pump I do not even know how much gas is in my car because the gauge is not correct. No matter what they do the engine light remains on it failed the e check ?????? There has been thousands of people with this same problem”

NHTSA complaint #11012465, filed 2017-08, 93,000 miles

“Hyundai Hyundai for about a year and the fuel gauge has been screwing up 3 months after purchasing the car used. This seems to be a common problem I've noticed several other people complained about it I don't understand how many factors can just not repair such an issue especially its cost between 500 to 700 dollars to repair.”
