“The contact owns a 2012 Hyundai Veloster. The contact stated that the headlight bulbs burned out often. Also, while idling at a stop, the vehicle jerked, lost power, and shut off without warning. The vehicle was able to be restarted. The contact also stated that the vehicle accelerated automatically in intervals and the engine made a knocking sound. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the vehicle operated as designed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and referred the contact to the dealer. The failures were not remedied. …”
