“Over the past 2 months squealing noises have become ver noticeable on the brakes. Supposedly it is moisture, but it should not happened when it is 98 degrees fahrenheit. I went to a local well known mechanic shop and replaced the brakes thinking it was the brake pads but it wasn't. The noise once again showed up. Another issue, the AC goes on and off intermittently while on the road.”
NHTSA complaint #11353112, filed 2020-09, 56,690 miles“HVAC system wiring is melted, only works intermittently between knob #3-4. check engine light comes off and on for Wheel Speed Sensor (all 4) Invalid/No Signal. Fuses consistently blow. Multiple complains have been made by other 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo owners. In addition to these issues being a HUGE fire risk, there was a new fire risk safety recall issued in sept 2023 with no resolution. Hyundais only current resolution for this is to “park away from structures in the meantime”, and will send a letter out once resolved. The HVAC system has been replaced once prior.”

NHTSA complaint #11593038, filed 2024-06“I was on the highway and looked at my speedometer and the mph was at 0. The abs and the brake light warnings came on and I couldn't accelerate and hardly brake. I pulled to the shoulder immediately. Took a couple hundred feet to finally stop. It was a very scary moment thinking my brakes have gone. I put it in park waited a moment turned it off... waited about 5 mins and it turned over just wanted to get it home”
NHTSA complaint #11580577, filed 2024-04“ABS, EPS, check engine light appeared on dashboard then car’s steering wheel stiffed and car lost power. Vehicle’s hood smells burnt and has fumes come out after driving for 10-20minutes. My safety and my family’s was endangered as this happened while driving on the road. Not at a stop sign or a red traffic light but while driving. The dealer has refused to inspect/address the issue without having me paid close to $2,500.00 for other repairs.”
