“While driving on the highway, the gears stall on the 2nd gear and power cuts off from the engine. This has occurred 3 times on highways. Turned off the car and restarted with no engine response. Did this 2 more times and engine restored power. Engine stalling is common with daily driving and cuts off when in 2nd gear. Infiniti dealership has attempted to reflash the transmission but nothing has been resolved.”
NHTSA complaint #10789868, filed 2015-11, 50,072 miles“The contact owns a 2009 infinti FX35. While turning the vehicle, it vibrated and the steering made an abnormal clicking noise. This was the second time the failure occurred. The dealer diagnosed that the transfer case needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 53,000.”
