“I was turning left at an intersection. The other driver ran the light and hit me in the front quarter panel at an estimated speed of 40 MPH. He also left the scene of the accident with 2 flat tires and a broken radiator. My car was spun into the opposite direction about 200 feet. The airbags did not deploy. I was smashed into my driver side door and window. I have multiple broken bones. I do not plan to put my child in this car once it is repaired. My insurance would not total the vehicle. Do we know if takata airbags were used in the G25 models?”
NHTSA complaint #10745615, filed 2015-08, 59,000 miles“The contact owns a 2011 G25 infinity. The contact stated that the vehicle emitted an abnormal noise while turning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who performed an inspection which located the front driver's side strut wheel house knuckle as fractured. The strut wheel house knuckle was welded twice. The contact also stated that the cruise control light flickered. The dealer replaced the brake switch. The failure mileage was 1,751.”
