“The engine stalled with out warning while I was driving. Now the service engine soon, vdc, and slip light comes on, the engine sometimes will not start, I've also experience reduced power and hesitation. I have seen a recall for the exact same problem for my year and model, but not for my VIN.”

NHTSA complaint #10838577, filed 2016-02, 120,000 miles

“While driving, in traffic, the vehicle failed to accelerate. Cars behind me were at a safe enough distance that I could put on my hazard lights and restart the car. This, also, happens when trying to start the car a.m. Or p.m. (with the vehicle being parked): it fails to start. The vdc and slip light comes on. This continues to happen.”

NHTSA complaint #10464328, filed 2012-07, 92,000 miles

“1. Car was hard to stop when braking for a light 2. Car accelerated on is own when entering driveway had to slam on brakes 3. Checked around the pedals for any thing that may have caused this. Nothing was found so I took the car for a test drive. And when I slowed on my street prior to turning into my driveway the car took off on it's own again. I had to put the car in neutral to stop it. When I did the engine redlined by itself.”

NHTSA complaint #10585169, filed 2014-04, 16,800 miles

“Fuel gauge reads inaccurately causing vehicle to run out of fuel. Very common problem on this model across the years of 2003 - 2006. Nissan has addressed the problem with some of their models, but not all. If vehicle runs out of fuel, it can disable the vehicle causing increased steering effort and possibly a crash.”

NHTSA complaint #10649380, filed 2014-10, 100,000 miles

“The oil burns like crazy it caused my car to lock up being the it happens without warning, having to do oil changes once a month which is insanity. This has been a problem not only in the Infiniti G35 but also the nissan 350z models. Usually a problem with manual 6spd transmission models. This should be a recall being that no one has been able to fix the problem!”
