“Was going down ramp onto interstate 85 northbound. I had a bus in front of me, I was switching lanes, he switched lanes right I front of me. All of a sudden a piece of metal from the back end of the bus flew up and hit my bumper. Pulled over and inspected. Bumper paint is scratched off. I have the license plate of the bus.”

NHTSA complaint #10663460, filed 2014-12, 77,902 miles

“While I was traveling on the highway at 70mph, the glass from my sunroof flew off of my vehicle onto on coming traffic. There is no active recall for this and it seems that may other people have had this same issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11384169, filed 2020-12, 186,920 miles

“Vehicle accelerated rapidly while coming to a stop in a slot parking space. Operators foot was on the break peddle at the time of the rapid acceleration. Vehicle then crashed into a tree and came to a complete stop. The crash caused extensive front end damage to the hood and front bumper and the energy absorbing system. The air bags did not deploy but the air bag indicator lamp is on.”

NHTSA complaint #10615424, filed 2014-07, 170,545 miles

“The dashboard is cracking and melting. The dashboard is melted so bad in some spots that the dashboard can't even be cleaned. The cracks in the dashboard are starting to get worse each day. I am afraid that the cracks will become so severe it will eventually affect the driving safety of the vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #10629919, filed 2014-09, 70,000 miles

“Both outside and inside door handles on driver's door failed thus making door mechanism impossible to activate and driver's door impossible to open from inside or outside under any conditions. Door cannot be pushed open from inside because latch mechanism is in closed position securing door closed and handles do not work. Contacted dealer and dealer said it is probably a failed handle cable and that it is not uncommon on this model and is not covered under any recall, reimbursement, or safety program. …”
