“Car was jerking while driving. I went to the dealer, was told that a radiator leaked to the transmission, and ruined it. Dealer flashed transmission, but later I had check engine warning. I went back, dealer told me that this is because of a bad transmission. This is not safe to drive a car in this condition. I still have a power train warranty, but nissan refuses to repair transmission, because, they say, transmission problem was a secondary one, and the primary was a radiator. Nissan twice refused to repair under warranty.”

“I recently purchased this car from a nissan dealership and it happened on the first and second day owning it. The first day happened when I pulled into the gas station taxing to the gas pump and all the sudden, the steering wheel started to get harden. I looked at the RPM gauge and it was down to zero while I was in d mode. So shifted to park and restart the engine, then it works again. The second incident happened when I was at a stop sign turning right. Immediately after releasing the brake pedal, I turned the steering wheel and the engine stalled; therefore, the steering wheel was harden. …”

“New vehicle driven only 4k miles when noises started emanating from the engine compartment anytime rpms exceeded 4000. Dealer diagnosed problem as a burned out transmission requiring replacement. Had the transmission seized up while driving, it could have LED to a very dangerous situation.”

“The contact owns a 2008 Infiniti G35 sedan. The contact stated that when he depresses the accelerator pedal, there is a brief hesitation and then the vehicle accelerates rapidly. He took the vehicle to the dealer from where it was purchased and had them inspect it; however, they were unable to identify the cause of the failure. The failure occurs intermittently only after the vehicle comes to a complete stop and proceeds to move forward. The failure was noticed ever since the vehicle was purchased and the dealer has been unable to duplicate or remedy the failure. …”
