My safety was put at risk because I had to immediately pull my car off the road in fear that my car would completely fail or catch fire. 3. Yes 4. There were no warnings prior to the failure. It failed out of nowhere. Proper maintenance was done.”
NHTSA complaint #11535785, filed 2023-08“Car malfunction light comes on spontaneously and runs rough and losses power and rpm can go to 4 at 35 mph and usually happens when car is idling parked for a little while. Them I cut it off and let it sit it goes back to normal. I also had prior problems with it smoking from tailpipe and it’s documented at dealership in Columbia SC and they said it wasn’t smoking enough to replace the turbos at the time but I got a notification from manufacturer about turbo malfunction.”
