2018: “Was told my service advisor that I need new tires at less than 20,000 despite having them rotated, balanced and/or aligned on a regular basis at dealer. Ride is extremely loud and tires sway erratically at slightest deviation in pavement. Reviews state that these tires often bubble up and explode causing a serious safety issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11207959, filed 2019-05, 19,500 miles2014: “While driving down the interstate I heard a loud noise and the front windshield imploded shooting very small sharp shards of glass all over myself, the front seat, instrument panel and center console. These were not tempered pieces of glass, rather sharp shards that cut me while trying to clean up.”
NHTSA complaint #10750120, filed 2015-08, 8,500 miles2017: “I noticed a continuous grinding sound while driving that was coming from somewhere. Lowered my windows and determined the sound was coming from the left front wheel. Upon inspection the brake pad was cracked into 2 pieces and jammed onto the rotor. Made an immediate repair of all brake pads on the car but problem persists. New brake pad still makes continuous contact with the rotor while driving and noise gets worse with braking. This is now causing the vehicle to slightly pull to the left at all times.”
