Example complaints

Engine: “While driving on an interstate highway at 70 MPH, the engine turned off without warning. The eco-mode lights came on with system failure warning. I was able to coast into the breakdown lane. The car would not restart right away. After working with the tow truck driver, we were able to get the car started after about one hour. I did not feel safe driving the car so it was towed to my home. The next morning, it was towed to the dealer for repairs. They contacted Infiniti's tech line and was told this is a known issue and they are working on a fix. …”

Air bags: “The contact owns a 2017 Infiniti Q60. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the seat air bag sensor, requiring the entire passenger’s side seat to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V244000 (Air Bags) but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 48,000.”
