“I purchased new tires at Infiniti of coconut creek september 2012. There is a vibration and noise at low speed, below 30 MPH. I took it back to the dealer numerous times and was told it is not the tires, it is the suspension that is loose and I will just have to live with it. Per the dealer, Infiniti knows there is a problem with the suspension on the QX56 and the armada and there is no fix. They will not replace the suspension.”

NHTSA complaint #10479359, filed 2012-10, 49,900 miles

“Took my car to get new breaks and he said I needed new control arms. I asked how I know and he said tire wear. I have gone thru 6 sets ( thought it was because it was a heavy SUV and a make a lot of right turns) he also said back end slipping (this has happened a lot as well I thought it was because nothing was in the back like a truck) I called Infiniti and they say I have to pay $95 and no guarantee they will fix it for free. I see a bunch of stuff online about 2007 control arms so need to know why my car is not included or at least looked at for free.”

NHTSA complaint #10607532, filed 2014-07, 80,000 miles

“Had new tires put on my Infiniti QX56....after doing so sounds as if rear end is slipping. I have 3 children and am afraid that this could result in an accident. Horn quit working 1 year after I purchased vehicle. This I know is dangerous because there is no horn to blow, in cases where needed. Fan on blower quit working, only works on high. Passenger seat will no longer adjust. Fan and passenger seat quit working approximately at the same time. No one wants to have an accident, but when you hear things like the rear end and front wheels sound as if they might fall off....that is scary.”

NHTSA complaint #10663295, filed 2014-12, 132,400 miles

“Vehicle feels as though it is jumping side by side on the road while driving over small bumps on the pavement. Requires firm grip on steering wheel to maintain control.”

NHTSA complaint #10692865, filed 2015-03, 95,000 miles

“2007 Infiniti QX56. Consumer writes regarding vehicle complaint regarding recall. The consumer contacted the dealer and was informed the recall did not apply to his vehicle; only the newer models. The consumer told the dealer he was in fact experiencing problems, because at times he had difficulty handling the vehicle. The dealer refused to perform the recall.”
