“The contact owns a 2016 Infiniti QX60. The contact stated that on two separate occasions, the infotainment screen located in the center console had failed to operate as needed. The contact stated that the screen went blank. Due to the failure, the contact could not use certain electrical features such as her rear backup camera and windshield defrosters. The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired and remained in the possession of the dealer. …”

“2016 Infiniti QX60. Consumer writes in regards to dealership refusal to repair an old 2gb navigation system to an upgraded 4gb system. The consumer stated he was unable to download directions. The consumer stated the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time completing a recall repair. Also, the vehicle experienced a clunking sound when making a sharp turn. The dealer advised it was unrelated to the recall and needed to be diagnosed immediately.”
