“Headlight switch on 2000 Isuzu Rodeo has a tab on the light stalk that goes toward the front to turn on headlights. When dimming the lights pulling back on the lever can often shut off headlights. Happened three times in the last year. Accident caused by lights going off. Vehicle totaled on a tree and injuries to occupants as a result.”

NHTSA complaint #10170903, filed 2006-10, 76,000 miles

“No defect, but could not find any other form to use to contact NHTSA. I wish to complain about eyestrain arising from headlight glare. In my car, SUV headlights are level with my rearview mirror. Freeway driving at night is very strainful and tiring.”
