“My wife stepped on brake pedal to shift into drive the brake went to the floor, I went out to try it myself & got same result. After opening the hood I noticed master cylinder was at a 45 degree angle to the right, the bolt on the vacuum booster had snapped of which damaged the booster & pedal function. If this had happened during vehicle was in motion it could of had severe consequences. I notified Isuzu of america to see if it was covered on our warranty they said no , I asked you don't want to do anything about a defect like this, the answer was still no. …”
NHTSA complaint #10141816, filed 2005-11, 52,000 miles“Drive shaft on vehicle is out of round causing vehicle to shimmy. There was a rumbling and or shimmy while the vehicle was being driven at any speed. The consumer had gone to a service dealer where they changed the rear drive shaft and stated that most of the problem had been eliminated however, the symptom still existed due to the wheels being out of round. The front brake rotors were also out of round.”
