“I was traveling on hillen road and e. 33rd st in baltimore, md. The weather was light raining and misty. As I approached 33rd and the alameda I engaged my brakes, the vehicle did not stop at first and heard a loud bang. At first I thought I hit something in the road and had flat tires. I tired to drift out of the intersection into a safe location and put my hazard lights on. My grandson got out of the vehicle and checked for any visual damages. There were none. …”
NHTSA complaint #10467217, filed 2012-07, 139,224 miles“Vehicle was parked on slight hill when it popped out of gear. Also, emergency brake failed, causing it to roll down into a tree. Isuzu engineers claimed vehicle passed all specifications, but consumer knew for a fact that it did not hold. Vehicle will only brake at the ten o'clock. Also prior to incident, consumer had complained about transmission noise, and that it was difficult to shift.”
