“1(a). After driving at highway speeds (above 60 MPH) the ABS warning light on the instrument panel nearly always comes on. This has ocurred hundreds of times. 1(b). When driving in slippery snowy conditions, after applying the brakes the ABS computer makes a loud buzzing noise that will not stop until the electrical connection to the 4 wheel drive ABS component is severed by either removing the negative battery cable from the battery or removing the fuse. This has ocurred many times, but only three times has it caused a loss of control where people were at risk of harm. 2. …”

After repeated trips and complaints to cochran pontiac in monroeville, we were told each time there was nothing wrong. They finally replaced the brake vacuum booster hose in 4/97 and again in 6/97. This helped minimally. We took the car to be inspected 6/99 and had to replace the entire brake system at only 34200 miles. …”
