Example complaints
Engine: “I would like to report for your assistance regarding my wife, inci's unfortunate accident on 10/04/2019. She is suffering significant pain due to post-accident sternum and rib fractures. I am reporting this accident report for her. As clearly documented by the attached video clip, she comes at the front of the garage and stops the car for opening the garage door. Instead of turning right side to park the car that accelerates without any control straightforward and hits the wall. …”
NHTSA complaint #11269774, filed 2019-10, 2,900 milesAir bags: “My safety bag warning light has been coming on and off. I have no accidents or anything mechanically done to cause this to trigger. In addition, I never knew my seats had any memory as I have never used this option since I've purchased the vehicle in 2019. At times my driver seats moves on its own, without me touching anything.”
NHTSA complaint #11500441, filed 2023-01Electrical system: “Engine start stop button provides haptic feedback when pressed but does not start or stop the engine, unless pushed with enough force. The haptic feedback leads the operator to believe they have correctly depressed the button but the engine has not stopped/started. This is concerning as while the car is in drive you could think you have stopped the engine when the button has clicked but not stopped the engine.”
NHTSA complaint #11197371, filed 2019-04, 4,000 milesFuel system: “When the car gets close to 1/4 of a tank of gas it completely stops and it switches into neutral, headlights shut off, and the car completely stalls out. Tonight is the second time in a week this has happened on the interstate in heavy traffic. There's less than 30k miles on my car! Someone is going to get killed! My family is in danger as we sit stranded on the side of the interstate, and if something happens to us I'm suing this company!”
