“The contact owns a 2020 dodge ram 3500 hauling a 2020 jayco 5th wheel trailer. The contact stated that while driving at 65 MPH, the hitch to the cargo carrier fractured without warning. The contact noticed within two miles that the generator, trailer and the cargo carrier were not securely attached to the vehicle. A dealer was not contacted. The trailer was not found. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure however, no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage on the vehicle was approximately 22,000, 3,500 on the 5th wheel trailer and 3,000 on the cargo carrier. …”
