“The recall (n23 NHTSA 13v 225) per shanepua, of chrysler, that is now causing major problems on my vehicle was not tasked to my specific vehicle and they won't honor the recall. The other 2 recalls were poorly done in feb 2020 and is now again causing problems.”

NHTSA complaint #11375252, filed 2020-11, 189,110 miles

“My car- I was able start it twice after a few simple test.- I made sure the battery cable/terminals were tight, I turned everything off, and I then cut it off. On the 3rd time it did nothing. No dash light radio, no A/C, windows not working. The headlights and interior lights work so battery is fine. The key will lock or unlock the doors. The starter works.”

NHTSA complaint #10618936, filed 2014-08, 84,000 miles

“The ignition would not turn off and let the key fob be removed. We finally had to have it towed to the dealership as the key would not do anything. Could not get the key to turn on in order to put the Commander in any gear in order for it to be placed on the flatbed. The win module had to be replaced and new keys bought. I do see where the win module is on recall but not the VIN # of my 2008 Commander.”

NHTSA complaint #10894974, filed 2016-08, 98,402 miles

“We just bought our Jeep and in the first week we had it stalled for no reason. We took it back to the dealership and they couldn't not repeat the problem. It has since stalled 5 or 6 times at various speeds. I am concerned that this is a real safety issue and am afraid to let my teenage son drive this vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #10614855, filed 2014-07, 56,750 miles

“Received a safety recall in the fall of 2014. The dealer did not have the part to repair. After several months and a few more calls still no parts. I then received an additional safety recall on the same defect and called the dealer again and was told they still did not have the parts to make the repair. It has been a year now since the first notice and my question is this. Is it a safety recall or not?”
