“When I fill up the car with gas after leaving and driving for 20-30 seconds and stop at the stop light or sign the car will die and the steering wheel will lock up takes a couple of tries before it will start up and cause the steering wheel locks up I can't even move the car to the side if I have to. This has been going on for the past year.”

Why is chrysler not faceing this problem. You fill the Jeep up and the the car stalls out and will stop dead in traffic this is so dangerous. What's being done about this why is the government not hold chrysler responsible for this. We have tried to different gas stations and now are being told that it is a known issue.”

About 3 months into owning it I have noticed that it will stall directly after I fill my gas tank. After I leave the gas station, I notice that the Jeep starts to rattle and slow down, and while this is happening my steering wheel locks up and I am unable to turn and accelerate. This has happened about 10 times so far, and the most recent occurrence (12/11/17) it stalled 3 times within 5 minutes before the problem went away. …”

The vehicle was purchased from a chevy dealer. After our purchase, I filled the tank with fuel. When I pulled away from the gas station and into traffic the vehicle stalls and cuts off in the middle of two lanes of traffic. I restarted it and went about a block and the vehicle stalls out going about twenty miles per hour while I was in traffic. …”
