Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Driving on the highway the driver side seat belt came off from its mount the bolt had fallen out. The sunroof had been previously replaced by the dealer and I suspect they had removed the seat belt mounting bolt to remove headliner, inspection of the bolt show no application of threadlocker. I reinstalled the bolt with threadlocker and torqued as per spec for the bolt size.”
