“I have a 2008 Jeep patriot with less than 50,000 miles and this spring I've had to replace two cracked/faulty TPMS units - at separate times. Both incidents were discovered due to low PSI, a leaky valve stem and flat tires. Any single repair could be written off as coincidence, but two out of four tires is disconcerting.”

NHTSA complaint #10611192, filed 2014-07, 47,500 miles

“We have bought a new vehicle on march 20th, 2010. We was told that the tires and everything on the vehicle was fine. On may 17th we took the vehicle in to get one of the tires changed and found out the other three of the tires have the same problem. The wires in the tires ae separating, which are causing the tires to bubble. In the end it's causing separation throughout the tires.”
