Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“My 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L has a serious defect. While making a normal adjustment to the rearview mirror, the entire mirror assembly broke off the windshield and pulled pieces of the glass with it. There was no impact, no accident, and no excessive force—this happened during a routine adjustment while parked. The mount clearly failed, not the driver. This leaves the mirror unusable, damages the windshield, and creates a safety hazard. I’ve since discovered that other Wagoneer owners are reporting the same issue. …”

NHTSA complaint #11698802, filed 2025-11

“The front windshield has a very noticeable warp under the rear view mirror. Enough to cause vertigo while driving. Many forums explain this issue has been reported to Jeep but no resolution has been proposed by them.”

NHTSA complaint #11535934, filed 2023-08

“The driver’s side sun visor at the main attach point broke when trying to move it from the stowed position. Prior to this, no looseness or other abnormal condition was known to exist. The plastic elbow which serves as the pivot point separated from the base with the electrical wires remaining attached. This results in the driver’s view directly in front of the vehicle being 80-90% restricted as the visor falls directly in front of the driver’s face. The visor will not stow. One hand must be used to hold the visor up against the headliner. …”
