“I am currently in possession of a Jeep wrangler 2 door with a soft top. The only problem with the car is that the soft top leaks like a faucet anytime there is rain. While at first I thought it to only be a nuisance, after the third time I began to notice many problems related to the leaks. …”

NHTSA complaint #10249172, filed 2008-11, 12,112 miles

“I bought my 2007 wrangler jk from herterich food/Jeep in dover , de . It was brand new, and a few days after buying it, it had rained and my soft top leaked from the forward left and right sides of the soft top right at the corners of where it meets the windshield. I've taken it back to the dealer to have it fixed twice and still the same result. It always leaks regardless of what rain condition. Note this was a brand new vehicle that I bought. And if it continues it im afraid it will cause water damage that is irreversible to my interior.”

NHTSA complaint #10266734, filed 2009-04, 500 miles

“Soft top and hard tops both leak in heavy rains or at the car wash. Leak is from the a-pillar area above the doors. My 2007 Jeep wrangler has been to the dealer four times to have the leak addressed. The dealership then had my warranty voided because my 2007 Jeep wrangler had signs that it had been offroad.”
