Since we got the Jeep, it randomly stops and the car just shuts off in the middle of the road, with the D by the gear shift blinking red. There is plenty of gas and is fully charged. It has happened five times in the two days I've had it. We've called multiple Jeep dealerships, everyone is refusing to even see the car because it was purchased in Baltimore. I've been given the run around with many different phone numbers to call. …”
NHTSA complaint #11566264, filed 2024-01“On 10/21/2023 I went to turn on my car and shift it to drive when the shifter was unable to move. The shifter was stuck in park and could not move out of any other gear. Check engine light and power steering light were on. Additionally the following message showed up on the dash - Service Electronic Stability Several tow truckers were called and the vehicle was unable to be put into neutral even after attempting to use the override cable in the shifter. The vehicle had to be dragged onto a flatbed and was towed to the dealership. …”
