Example complaints
Body and structure: “The contact owns a 2007 Keystone Everest rv. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH, the driver side front tire suddenly blew. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician stated that the tire failure occurred as a result of the frame fracturing above the rocker area of the front and rear axle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but not solution was offered. The failure mileage was unknown.”
NHTSA complaint #10622512, filed 2014-08Suspension: “Loose axle. The back axle became loose therefore causing it to back p to the frame on one side and rubbing on the inside frame and wheel covers. This could have caused a tire blow on both sides to extremely high friction of the tires on the road and rapid wear of the tires. This also could have caused a fire due to heat created by the friction of the tire on the tire cover and frame.”
NHTSA complaint #10235308, filed 2008-07, 9,400 milesTires: “I own a 2007 Keystone Everest fiver. The tires on it are the mission's 235-80-16 load range. I've had two blowouts, the first wasn't that bad but the second one did some damage on the side of the camper. I contacted the tire manufacturer and was told that because the tires were five years old that they couldn't or should I say wouldn't do anything about it. I explained to them that I purchased the unit new off the lot in 2007. …”

The contact stated that the boiler on the refrigerator was damaged and needed to be replaced. Dometic also placed a covering around the refrigerator, but the contact feels that this may not completely eliminate the failure. The refrigerator coolant continued to leak.
