Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“After a 170 mile trip in roughly 50F temperatures, I pulled into my destination and noticed 1 tire was rounded across the tread instead of flat. After closer inspection it is clear the tread is separating from the tire and the steel belt is visible. The tire was probably only minutes from completely blowing out. TPMS did not indicate any abnormal pressure or temperature for any tires, and the tire looked fine prior to leaving for this trip. This is the second set of Ranier tires that I have had that have blown out unexpectedly”
