“My seat belt keeps locking on me. Fortunately, thus far I have been able to eventually get it to come loose. Sometimes it is a little difficult to fasten. I'm afraid someday I will need to get out fast and won't be able to. I am parked and the car is turned off on a city street and sometimes in my driveway and stores.”
NHTSA complaint #11373172, filed 2020-11, 231,937 miles“My low beam headlights keep blowing out, my rear wind shield wiper doesn't lay on the glass. Therefore, it doesn't clean well, the seatbelt in the middle row keeps falling in the seat crack making it hard to get out and buckle up. My rear Kia symbol is chipping paint.”
NHTSA complaint #11192695, filed 2019-03, 200,000 miles“My ABS, airbag light is on before. After replacing the clock spring the lights are still on, and also both my back seat belts will not go down. The car has not been in any accidents”
NHTSA complaint #11309718, filed 2020-02, 220,000 miles“I buckled in my seat belt as usual only to find when shifting to drive the seat belt indicator light continued to flash. I checked the children's seat belt to make sure they were buckled in and they were. I disconnected my seat belt and tried to reconnect and it would not reconnect. I visited the dealership as the vehicle was purchased roughly 3 months ago and was informed by the general sales manager this was not their problem and a loaner could not be provided until the part comes in. I asked if I would be safe and he reiterated again this was not their problem. …”
NHTSA complaint #10636936, filed 2014-09, 66,500 miles“Dashboard continuously illuminates that there is a problem with the vehicles air bags. Light is on when the ignition is on or the engine is on. There are no problems driving he vehicle but unsure if airbag will deploy if I am in an accident.”
