“Front bumper is cracking and slowly breaking off at the fender. Looked up the problem online and it is very common and is a design flaw. I believe it is due to the heat the light gives off. This started 2 weeks ago and the crack is getting bigger. Never been in a accident didn't hit anything. I talked to another evoque owner and he told me if the crack reaches the bottom of the fender it will fall off and could possibly hit someone while driving.”

NHTSA complaint #11354065, filed 2020-09, 73,000 miles

“Suddenly noticed water on the console snd driver side mats. Then felt interior header lining soaked, sun visors, side pilars and dashboard wet. Also roof shade very wet. Called rr dealer. Tild me to bring it in. Never told me it was not under warranty. Charged me 408.00 for a ridiculous diagnostic check, told me my brakes and tires needed replacement which I knew I told them before hand. The final sentence in the video says there is a leak coming fromvthe windshield somewhere but cannot repair it. Now, its raining in nyc snd my car is soaked. …”

NHTSA complaint #11415070, filed 2021-05, 42,800 miles

“My vehicle has brakes that catch so hard when you press the pedal lightly that the front end of the car dips down. I was exiting an offramp and the car slid sideways and I was near having a collision. It has been in the shop for this numerous times. Neil at Land Rover of san diego today told me that he did notice it when we drove different cars back to back. The car is also leaking coolant and you can smell it in the cabin. From what I read this is hazardous. This has not been resolved by the dealer and they just try to cover it up by topping off the coolant. …”

NHTSA complaint #10965930, filed 2017-03, 11,000 miles

“Water ingress manufacturing defect caused major electrical failures, including all central console components & mold/mildew growth due to inconspicuous 1st leak. Official Land Rover dealership replaced windshield in 2019 under warranty based on TSB N221. Another leak occurred in 2020 during pandemic, but no repairs completed. The last water leak in 5/2021 resulted in water visibly dripping onto interior surfaces by windshield. …”
