“The washer fluid spray nozzles does not provide suitable spray onto the windshield other than in park. Inadequate design, flow, spray pattern is causing a safety visibility issue. I have attempted to address the issue with landrover USA customer service however they will not fix the concern. They have labeled the issue as a design concern not a safety issue and notified engineering in england for their possible review. To clear the windshield in winter driving, I must pull over every 10 - 15 miles to spray window. This is a brand new vehicle design for Land Rover and an obvious safety issue. …”
NHTSA complaint #10496517, filed 2013-02, 200 miles“The new generation 2013 Range Rover, released in december 2012, does not have adequate windshield washer spray nozzles. They are unable to apply washer fluid to clear an obstructed windshield at any traveling speed. This creates a dangerous driving condition during any winter driving which will lead to accidents. Land rover corporate offices are unwilling / unable to address this design flaw in any manner. They would only refer this design complaint to their corporate design engineering in solihull, england.”
