“The contact owns a 2013 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact stated that the front passenger door did not lock. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (Land Rover alexandria, 2712 duke street, alexandria, va, 22314) where it was awaiting diagnostic testing. The contact also mentioned that the air bags and check engine warning indicators were illuminated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 76,000.”

The contact was unable to lock the door electronically or manually. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that the latch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V385000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages). The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 112,000.”
