“The contact owns a 2014 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and making a turn, the front driver's side door unexpectedly opened due to a latch failure. The contact stated that he drilled some holes and installed wires to keep the front driver's side door securely closed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 147,260.”
