“I was driving home at 25mph (without my child) approaching an intersection, when the car in front of me makes a last minute lane change to turn at the intersection, I go to break and it doesn't break, the pedal reacts hard where it's always a soft compression, the dash lights up flashing the message break malfunction check ABS, check vsc, check brake system, not to drive vehicle due to system failure, contact deal immediately . I coast down the road and upon breaking again the whole car shakes making steering and especially turning very difficult. …”

The contact stated that while driving 20 MPH and attempting a left turn, the steering wheel seized, causing the contact to crash into a pole. There were no warning lights illuminated prior to the failure. Upon impact, all of the air bags deployed causing injuries to the driver and a passenger's knees. The police were notified and a police report was filed. The front driver side panel was damaged and the windshield was cracked. The vehicle was not able to be driven and was towed to a repair center. …”
