“On two occasions while driving my hood has become open due to windy conditions coming from the Makua side of the highway as I’m driving on the Queen Kaahumanu Highway Today was the second incident except that I was heading south The first time that happened I was driving north and it occurred probably about a few months ago, but I dismissed it I know for a fact that I did not open the engine compartment I will download my front camera files and see if I can find a record”

In over 25 years of ownership, I have never experienced an issue like this. While driving under normal road conditions, my new 2024 RX 350’s AC condenser was punctured by small road debris, causing a refrigerant leak and loss of air conditioning. The condenser is located directly behind the front bumper, leaving it exposed to minor debris, which I believe is a design vulnerability. Damage at such low mileage suggests this may affect other vehicles of this model. …”
