“Driving on the highway, heard a very loud pop, followed by a crackling noise above us. Investigated and found the sunroof had spontaneously shattered. On the drive home, the sunroof glass collapsed into the car. The initial incident was very disruptive, and we were lucky that the sun shade was closed, which blocked glass fragments from falling on us. There are no signs of impact from any objects or rocks. There were no cars driving in front of us, and we did not drive beneath an overpass. There were no dents on the car. …”

“There is significant vibration coming from the driver-side side mirror. Very noticeable on the freeway. As a result, the mirror appears blurry and at certain times of the day, light is reflecting back into my eyes which is dangerous. The other side mirror and rear view are ok. Something seems to be wrong with the driver side.”

Approximately two weeks later, the air conditioner failed to blow cool air. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was determined that the A/C condenser was damaged by the debris, causing a coolant leak. The dealer stated that the condenser needed to be replaced. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Action Number: DP26006 (Engine and Engine Cooling). …”
