Example complaints

Electrical system: “Seems to be an electrical problem with the car. i have had it in for repairs 5xs now cant seem to fix it or cant find the problem. The entire ADAS system fails at different points. Sometimes i get warnings. One time entire car went black while driving on highway. Lincoln claims no faults were stored. Head lights light on their own while parked and locked or sometimes they don't work at all. Rear tailgate opened while driving. Ventilation system displays in Chinese. This has been going on for a little over a year now.”

NHTSA complaint #11675928, filed 2025-07

Other or unknown: “On May 10 a lighted wrench appeared on the instrument panel. The car felt as if I was loosing power. May 12 I got in the car, the wrench and check engine lights were both on. Called the dealer service department. They told me the car is not safe to drive as it cannot accelerator and will go into limp mode . After having it towed to the Lincoln dealership, I was told the turbo in the engine failed. As of July 6, there is not a part available for this repair. Today I was told there are only 3 in the entire nation and they are all accounted for.”

NHTSA complaint #11748517, filed 2026-07

Back-over prevention (rear camera): “The component that failed is a known issue with the backup camera blue screen. My vin# isn't part of the recall but should be. The safety factor is well known. The dealer has reproduced the issue replaced the camera and applied the temporary fix but it failed again. The temporary fix also caused the 360 feature to freeze in one spot. There were no symptoms of the problem prior to the failure.”
