“I parked my vehicle on a slight incline in parking lot, when shortly thereafter, the vehicle rolled away and crashed into a gate. I had parked the vehicle, walked to the back of the vehicle and went inside to conduct my business. The fact that the roll back did not happen as I parked indicates that the car was properly parked. Being perplexed as to why my parked vehicle suddenly rolled back I then discovered that the ford co. Had a recall on some of their Lincoln MKX 2014's. …”
NHTSA complaint #10689487, filed 2015-02, 1,300 miles“Sporadically get a message that the driver from door is ajar when it is closed. Also, get a message that transmission not in park when the shifter is in park, more recently I have also gotten this message when I start my vehicle and put in drive. So far I have been able to get both messages to go away by opening and shutting the door a few times(for the door ajar message) and turning the vehicle off and back on(this sometimes takes 3 or 4 tries, for the transmission not in park message).”
