Example complaints

Forward collision avoidance: “I was pulling up to a stoplight at Belmont & Abrams in East Dallas when my Pre-Collision Brake went off. I was not about to collide with another car, we were both slowing down. The force of the braking system caused me to re-tear 2 rotator cuff muscles I had had repaired 6 weeks earlier. I had de-activated the pre-collision brake multiple times because it's a hazard, but every time the car received an update it re-activated. I can't believe there isn't a class action lawsuit against Ford/Lincoln for this dangerous product.”

NHTSA complaint #11770558, filed 2026-10

Other or unknown: “We haven’t had the car for a full year yet and already have now had our 3rd front windshield cracked! It’s either the glass is too fragile or the shape of it. I’ve never had this happen with any car ever! I’ve also read online several other car owners complaining of the same issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11676496, filed 2025-07

Electrical system: “Message the car sends Remote features disabled to preserve battery Your Nautilus has enter Deep Sleep to remedy the problem you much drive it. I drive my lincoln nautilus everyday and I get this message at least once a month. The car has completely died twice, no power, you can't even open the car doors nor trunk with key. You have to take the key apart and put it in a small hole on the door to open the car up. In March 2025 I was in NC for a funeral with my disabled Mom, we check out of the hotel, go to get in the car, completely dead, had to call a tow truck for a jump. …”
