“I purchased my vehicle brand new in january of 2003. I have had numerous problems with the vehicle since day 1.the entire computer had to be changed. The truck stalled on me at highway speed. It took over 2 1/2 weeks to get my vehicle back.here is a list of the other problems I have had. The rear vent motors have been changed . I had my windows stuck open with half of my electical system out for over four days due to the problem. The side view mirror motor had to be changed. The power running boards have never worked properly and the dealer can't find the problem. …”

On 8/17 while driving vehicle I was shoved into steering wheel as far up as it would go and mirrors were going crazy on outside. I 'm three months pregnant and I already lost 2 of the 3 triplets I found out on 8/25. Not sure if this is why or not. On top of that had another tire pressure system fault error. They put on machine and found 7 error codes and said they fixed, if it happened again to bring it back. On 8/30 the lights went nuts, the back liftgate almost crushed me in it. …”

Vehicle had to have a new transmission installed 2 months after vehicle purchased. Vehicle was sold with the problem known to dealership. Worker at location stated they knew it and when we purchased vehicle, they insisted on us buying an extended warranty since it was used. NHTSA complaint #10308848, filed 2010-02, 55,000 miles“The sunroof of my 2003 Lincoln Navigator has a defect in that in heavy rain the tracks of the sun roof fill with water and overflow into the headliner (interior) and leak into the car from various locations such as the dvd player. This has happened 2 times since ownership. Was told by the Lincoln dealer that it was a defect in design and they could not fix it. They said they would repair any damage caused by the problem, but only if the car was still in warranty . There seems to be a problem with the drain holes in the sunroof that does not allow for proper draining. …”
NHTSA complaint #10108127, filed 2005-01, 30,000 miles“Dealership replaced the motor and the computer of driver's seat that was too loose and moved back and forth while driving, causing a distraction to the consumer. 6 months later, consumer experienced the same problem. The vehicles brakes squeaked, the door panel was loose, the side mirror motor failed. There was a rattling noise coming from the rear center console and there was a loud humming noise from the passenger dash in cold weather. The gear shifter broke while driving.
