“Vehicle is subject to multiple open federal safety recalls with no repair remedy currently available from Ford/Lincoln. One recall involves potential fuel pump failure causing loss of fuel pressure, engine stall while driving, and increased crash risk. A second recall involves interruption of driver assistance and visibility systems including rearview camera, forward collision warning, lane keeping, and related safety systems. This vehicle is operated in a commercial passenger rental fleet. …”
NHTSA complaint #11736816, filed 2026-05“Windshield wipers will stop working when driving in weather that requires the windshield wipers. They stop in place and will not move even when trying to move them manually. This is an intermittent problem. The windshield wipers will reset and start working after a period of 6+ hours of the car being turned off. This happened on 12/1/22 and 12/10/22 while driving the car. Car dealership will not assist unless there is failure that can be produced at time of service. Lincoln has been notified and is unable to assist as well.”
