“When engaged, the turn signals clicked as if they were functioning, but lights did not illuminate. The dealer diagnosed that the turn signal module failed. The lcm module was replaced.”
NHTSA complaint #10027124, filed 2003-08, 54,000 miles“While traveling at 60 MPH consumer turned on cruise control, was getting ready to exit and put on brakes to cut off speed control, vehicle slowed down, and then accelerated back to 60 MPH. Took vehicle to dealer, and they said switch was bad that worked with brakes. This switch also knocked out rear brake lights. There was no indication that the brake lights had failed to alert the driver.”
