“I tried to accelerate to merge onto the freeway. It was dry, but the trac active came on and my 2000 Lincoln would not go more than 45mph with the gas pedal mashed to the floorboard. The problem remains. Help.”

Sometimes they stay on for 30 seconds, other times they stay on all night, and drain battery. Lincoln has told consumer that it was a characteristic of vehicle. Vehicle has been to dealer 5-6 times for repair, but unable to remedy. The field service engineer stated that there is no remedy for the problem unless the manufacturer redesigns a new modular.”
